How a ticket works
One ticket, one person, one admission — and a code that changes every 30 seconds.
Every place someone books gets its own ticket and its own code. A booking for four is four tickets and four people through the door — not one code used four times.
The QR code on the screen is not really the ticket — it is a temporary code that redraws itself every 30 seconds. So a screenshot sent to a friend stops working almost immediately. The ticket is the page, not the picture of it, which is why sending someone the link is safe.
At the door
- Each ticket lets one person in, once. Scan it again and it tells you who came in and when, rather than just saying no.
- A flat battery is not a dead end — the ticket number from the confirmation can be typed in instead.
- Give a ticket to someone else and a fresh one is issued, so the old link stops working straight away.
