Reaching your guests

Email, Telegram and WhatsApp — and what happens before any of them are set up.

Tickets, sign-in codes and door invites all go out the same way. Email is set up once, by whoever runs the platform. On top of that, an organization can connect its own Telegram bot.

Until at least one of those is set up, nothing is actually sent. Your console says so plainly, on the overview and in guided setup. Everything else still works — tickets are on the confirmation screen and on your guest list — but no guest will receive a message.

Getting in before email works

A brand new install has a chicken-and-egg problem: email is configured behind a sign-in that needs email. Setting SUPER_CODE on the server breaks the loop — ask for a code as normal and type that instead. It only works for the platform owner's address, it expires and is limited like any other code, and you should remove it once email is working.
