What IHGIZ Events is
One place to run ticketed events, RSVP lists and private occasions.
You put an event online, people claim a place, everyone gets their own ticket, and you let them in at the door. It works the same way whether you are selling tickets to a concert, collecting RSVPs for a community breakfast, or keeping a private wedding list. Those are three settings, not three different products to learn.
Your guests never make an account. They choose how many places they want, give a name, and they have their ticket. That is on purpose — a signup form between someone and their Friday night is where most people give up.
Rather read it by doing it? The guided tour at /showcase walks the whole product from every side — a guest, the door, the person running the night, the person running the business, and the platform itself — with a working evening loaded and one click to sign in as each of them.
The three modes
| Mode | Who can see it | What claiming means |
|---|---|---|
| Ticketed | Anyone — and it appears on our public listings | A ticket, straight away |
| RSVP | Anyone you send the link to | A place on your list |
| Invitation only | Only the people you invite | A place nobody else can see |
The mode only changes who can see your event and what booking a place means. Capacity, tickets and the door work identically either way, so nothing you learn stops being true when you switch.
